Samsung Galaxy Note

Finally my brand new Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone arrived from Germany. I ordered it almost 2 weeks ago and I was already pretty anxious to try it.

Some people think that it’s too big(13.46 cm display), but I like its size. It feels good in my palm and I had no problems carrying it in my jeans’ pocket.

1280×800 px display looks amazing, but maybe I think so just because it is a major improvement over my old HTC Wildfire.

By the way, that screenshot above has original phone’s resolution. Awesome, right? Even not every computer supports such resolution. 🙂

After unusable HTC Wildfire’s calendar, Galaxy Note’s one looks much, much better.

When it comes to much advertised phone’s main feature – S Memo, it is really superb when you need to take some quick notes.

I have read that some people are disgruntled by stylus’ lag in S Memo. Well, text appears not exactly in the real time, but lag isn’t so bad here. Truth be told, it’s barely noticeable. I have had no discomfort using S Pen(that’s how this stylus is officially called by Samsung).

Overall, first impressions are only positive. I really phone’s size and think that it was great idea to make such phone and tablet hybrid.
